BC SENIORS GAMES TORCH LIGHTING CEREMONY
Nanaimo, May 28... Citizens of Nanaimo are invited to celebrate the start of the countdown to the 2007 Nanaimo BC Seniors Games on Sunday, June 3 with the official lighting of the Games Torch. This event recognizes the 100 day mark until the Opening of the Games. The Games Torch will stand as a beacon of competition, camaraderie and goodwill during the Games September 12 - 15.

NANAIMO RESIDENTS INVITED TO HOST ATHLETES & HELP GAMES
Nanaimo, May 4... With a few minor kick-off events under their belt, Nanaimo Seniors Games 2007 organizers are rolling up their sleeves and getting down to the business of preparing for the largest BC Seniors Games in history this September 12 to 15.

SENIORS GAMES ANNOUNCES OFFICE OPENING
Nanaimo, April 10... Today, BC Seniors Games Society and Nanaimo 2007 BC Seniors Games officially opened their Nanaimo offices in preparation for the September 2007 games. Officials were surrounded by local politicians, dignitaries and volunteer alike all wishing to celebrate and support the launch of the 20th annual games in Nanaimo.

BC SENIORS GAMES APPOINTS NANAIMO MANAGER
Nanaimo, February 7... The Nanaimo 2007 BC Seniors Games Society is pleased to announce that Certified Meeting Professional Trish Smith will oversee this provincial event taking place throughout the mid-Island next September 12-15.
